Sanj Rana is a Vice President of Human Resources at TD Bank. In this role, he leads the people and talent mandate for the Risk Management function – which includes a portfolio of colleagues that provide strategic advice and credible challenge to enable sustainable growth within the Bank’s risk appetite. In addition to his role at TD, he also proudly sits on the Strategic Advisory Council for Ascend Canada – a not-for-profit group that works with Canadian organizations to develop and advance Pan-Asian talent.
Before TD, Sanj was a Consultant with Deloitte, where he held progressively senior roles within their Human Capital practice. In this role, Sanj worked with clients from various industries across North America, including: Luxury Retail, Public Sector, Oil & Gas and Professional Services. Sanj holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
