COVID-19 – Update As of March 13th, 2020

We, at Ascend Canada, are deeply concerned with the rapid spread and impact of COVID-19 on human health and wellness in Canada and around the world. We are taking the situation seriously and will follow recommended guidance from health and government officials to help combat this spread of the virus. We will continue to closely monitor this situation and prioritize the safety and well-being of our communities and our members.

At this time, all of our near term in-person events are being postponed. We are working to assess the impact on our programs across Canada, including virtual event offerings for events that need to be postponed or re-scheduled.  While we understand that this may cause some disruption and inconvenience, safeguarding the well-being of our members and our community is our top priority.

We are fortunate to have an excellent team of professionals at Ascend Canada and with our colleagues in Ascend US, whom we are working together with to provide some alternative member program options.

We are pleased to share that our colleagues from the Philadelphia Chapter will host a webinar, 3 Critical Conversations: How to Navigate them with Ease, on March 25, and the Connecticut / Westchester Chapter will host a webinar, Professional Skills for the Future, on April 3. We also invite you to enjoy the latest podcast in our Ascend Canada Innovating Your Career podcast series. These virtual events are a testament to the resilience and commitment we have to ensure that our community can continue to engage in a safe manner.
