As part of our goal to support Pan-Asian leaders achieve their full potential, we’re excited to invite you to apply for the Ascend Canada Emerging Leaders Mentorship Program! This program connects emerging leaders with experienced mentors who can provide valuable guidance, share professional experiences, and help navigate career growth.

  • Mentees will be matched 1:1 or in small groups with mentors who are typically one to two career levels above them.
  • Matches will be based on career levels, goals, and interests.
  • Mentees will be responsible for reaching out to their assigned mentor and initiating the relationship. Both Mentees and Mentors will be supported through Ten Thousand Coffees – a best-in-class mentorship platform.
  • Monthly networking and learning sessions will be held on key leadership topics.
  1. Log into your Ascend Canada account and submit the application form, including your career level, goals, and mentorship preferences.
  2. Mentee Application Deadline: April 10 2026
  3. Mentor Application Deadline: April 17 2026
  4. Matching will take place, and participants will receive their mentor-mentee introduction emails on April 23 2026
  • This program is free for all Ascend Canada members.
  • There is no seat allocation—members can voluntarily sign up as a mentor or mentee, and we will match mentees with available mentors based on career levels, goals, and interests.
  • There is no cost associated with this program.
  • It is offered as a value-added service to support the professional growth of our members.
  • There are no additional requirements.
  • The program runs for six months, and during registration, mentees can indicate their career level, goals, and preferences to be matched with a suitable mentor.

Who should register as a mentor vs. a mentee?

Mentors: If you are currently at the Senior Manager, Director, or Executive level, we strongly encourage you to register as a mentor. Your experience is incredibly valuable in supporting emerging leaders across our community.

Mentees: If you are at the Manager level or earlier in your career (e.g., Analyst, Associate, individual contributor roles, or student), the mentee track is designed for you.

Already registered? If you signed up as a mentee but are at a Senior Manager level or above, we kindly ask that you update your registration to mentor. This will help us better support the high number of mentees and ensure more participants can be matched successfully.

If you do not receive a matching email on that date, it means we were unfortunately unable to match you for this cohort. However, we will keep your name on record for future mentorship opportunities.

We look forward to having you in the Ascend Canada Mentorship community!
